Held in June, at a time of lengthening days and softer light, 'Between Seasons' is a 90-minute participatory workshop that makes space for the full complexity of where we find ourselves — inwardly and outwardly. Even as the land begins to open and green, there can remain places of frost, shelter, and waiting within us. This workshop honours that reality.

About the Workshop:

Drama-therapy works indirectly, through metaphor rather than personal disclosure. You will not be asked to share personal stories or analyse your experience. Instead, the workshop engages with image, symbol, and story — allowing reflection and meaning to arise in a way that feels contained and creative. Sharing is always welcome, but never required.

The workshop also gently acknowledges the wider ecological context we are living within. At a time when land, weather, and seasons are increasingly unpredictable, participants are invited to consider their relationship with the natural world — not through urgency or instruction, but through attention and listening. The emphasis is on connection, reciprocity, and belonging: noticing what sustains, what needs rest, and what endures.

The session is co-facilitated, allowing the space to be held with care and responsiveness, offering steadiness, pacing, and multiple points of attunement throughout.

About the Facilitators:

Sarah Bradley and Lauren Bianchi are both qualified Dramatherapists. Their co-facilitation brings care, steadiness, and responsiveness to the space, ensuring participants feel supported as they move through the work. This workshop is open to all. No prior experience of drama-therapy or creative arts is required.
