Art and Health in Action – Across the Lifespan 10:00 - 13:00

This morning event will showcase creative and collaborative work connecting art and health across the lifespan—from early years to later life. Through a series of short, fast-paced presentations, you’ll hear about projects, research, creative practice and lived experience that bring arts and health together in meaningful ways.

Join us for an inspiring exploration of how creativity can support health and wellbeing at every stage of life.

Join us for the Healing Arts Scotland Research Conference, bringing together researchers, practitioners and policymakers to explore the latest evidence and practice in arts and health. Hosted at the iconic V&A Dundee, this half-day conference will showcase cutting-edge research and foster conversation across the arts and health community in Scotland and beyond.

The conference will cover three key areas:

  • Setting the Scene: exploring the global arts and health landscape, including arts prescribing and the connection between healing arts research and policy
  • Arts and Health Research Case Studies from Scotland: featuring research across dance for health, participatory arts, ageing and dementia, arts in the early years, and The Arts in Palliative and End-of-Life Care
  • Arts and Health Priority Themes: examining arts and health promotion, arts, health and ecologies, and centring art in arts and health practice
