Scottish Ensemble: Music for Wellbeing at V&A Dundee

A quartet from Scottish Ensemble joined for a free guided listening session at V&A Dundee, presented in celebration of the exhibition Maggie's: Architecture that Cares.

These sessions drew on SE's long-running partnership with Maggie's, the charity that supports people living with cancer and those close to them. Attendees listened to pieces of varying moods, explored their emotional impact, and engaged in conversations with musicians. There was room for discussion about the music, feelings, and anything else that arose. These sessions were led by SE musicians who have been running this program in Maggie's centres across Scotland since 2017.

Open to everyone, regardless of musical background or connection to Maggie's, this was a unique opportunity to experience Scottish Ensemble in a more intimate setting
