Step Forward

Step Forward is an integrated performance event from Citymoves Dance Agency, bringing together dancers with and without learning disabilities to share the stage in a celebration of movement, creativity and connection. Participants with Additional Support Needs work alongside their peers to develop dance and performance skills in an inclusive, supportive environment — demonstrating the transformative power of dance across all abilities.

Taking place on 19 June 2026, 6:15–8:00pm at The Anatomy Rooms, Aberdeen, Step Forward sits at the heart of Healing Arts Scotland's theme of Arts & Health Across Life Stages, exploring dance as a tool for mental health, wellbeing and disability inclusion.

Citymoves Dance Agency has been leading positive change through dance in the North East of Scotland since 1987, improving individual lives and transforming communities through education, professional pathways and community co-design.
