Maryhill Integration Network's Joyous Choir is a community choir for women seeking asylum and refuge in Glasgow. Weekly sessions include singing, song-writing, learning and sharing songs from different cultures, and performance opportunities. The gifted artists have previously drawn portraits at conferences, events, and The Scottish Parliament. While demonstrating their talent, they share pride in their creativity and how identifying as an artist helps their mental health and wellbeing.
