People came and flew a kite with us as we gathered to honour the record-breaking kite flying event by the children of Gaza in 2011. Our family-friendly event, open to all, was a celebration of the strength and joy they found on that day.

Scottish Ensemble delivered facilitated Music and Wellbeing sessions to communities across Scotland. In this workshop, you experienced one of our Music and Wellbeing workshops, which included guided listening and mindfulness tools and techniques to support your wellbeing. We were delighted to have Jill Sonke present on One Nation/One Project (ONOP), a US initiative using the arts to build healthier communities. ONOP’s research highlighted the arts' role in wellbeing, while its Arts for EveryBody campaign raised public awareness of the arts-health connection. This event was part of HAS Glasgow Day.

The network aimed to develop the strategic direction of social prescribing by sharing learning, good practice, and lessons across initiatives in Scotland. The journey took participants from the verdant Gardens of Gracemount Mansion to the ancient, healing Balmwell. Attendees learned about the heritage and legends of this special place where kings once bathed, and practiced mindfulness in nature to support their well-being.
